As the 2019-2020 school year approaches, it’s time to look back at what we’ve accomplished and look forward to what’s coming.
We started off our year by marching at the WBHS Homecoming parade, proudly representing the theatre department. In the beginning of November, we braved the cursed play and ventured to our dark sides with Macbeth, the classic Shakespearean piece. In December, our wonderful children’s show cast and crew delighted children from Sheiko, Doherty, Roosevelt and Gretchko elementary schools with the age-old tale of Hansel & Gretel. Then in January, we took a journey to a world of magic and adventure in She Kills Monsters. Our MIFA company took 1st place in both Districts and Regionals and were State qualifiers. It wasn’t long before our department set their sights on Harvard, putting on three dazzling performances of Legally Blonde in April of 2019. This hasn’t even scratched the surface of all of the fun times we’ve had together this year. Now, let’s march forward into this new and exciting year, ready for whatever challenges await us. What was your favorite memory from the 2018-2019 season?
